We do not collect your information

What we collect

Nothing. Lumina Study does not collect personal information about you. There is no sign-up, no profile, no tracking and no analytics inside the app.

Everything you put into Lumina — your courses, credit hours, availability, focus sessions, recall results and progress — is written to your own device and stays there. We cannot see it, because it is never sent anywhere.

Your email and your licence

Lumina is sold through Gumroad. When you buy a licence you give your email address to Gumroad, and Gumroad issues a licence key tied to it.

The only thing that email is used for is verifying that licence — confirming your purchase is genuine so the app unlocks on your devices. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share or sell it.

The payment itself is handled entirely by Gumroad. We never see your card details, billing address or any other information you give them. What Gumroad does with the information you provide is covered by Gumroad’s own privacy policy, which is worth reading before you buy.

Accounts are your choice

Lumina never requires you to create an account, and we never require any personal information to use the app.

If you choose to create an account with a third party — a Gumroad account, for example — that is your decision and your relationship with them. You are responsible for whatever information you choose to give them and for keeping those credentials safe. We are not party to that account, we do not manage it and we cannot access it.

Permissions the app may ask for

Notifications, and that is all. If you want Lumina to remind you when a study session is due, your operating system will ask you to allow notifications. Granting it is entirely optional — decline it and every other part of the app still works exactly the same.

You can change your mind at any time in your system settings. Lumina does not ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or any other personal data.

What we have no access to

To be explicit, we do not have access to any of the following:

• closeYour study plan, courses, notes or any content you create in the app
• closeYour files, photos, contacts, location or calendar
• closeUsage analytics, crash telemetry or behavioural tracking of any kind
• closePayment details — those stay with Gumroad
• closeAny account you hold with a third party

Lumina also contains no AI features and no advertising, so nothing you write is sent to a model or an ad network.

Your data, and deleting it

Because your data lives on your device, you are in full control of it. Backups and exports are saved wherever you choose to put them, and if you delete the app, that data goes with it.

There is no "delete my data" request to send us, because we are not holding anything to delete.

This website

This site does not set tracking cookies and does not run analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when the page loads — that is the only third party involved in visiting this site.

Children

Lumina is a study planner intended for students of any age, and since it collects no personal information, there is nothing for us to knowingly collect from a child either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Changes apply from the moment they are posted.
